Instructor Blind Spot Mirror

Instructor Blind Spot Mirror is a large additional mirror designed for cars, vans, and driving instruction vehicles.

Designed specifically for instructors, the mirror provides a clear side view from the passenger seat and is intended to support observation during driving lessons.

The mirror is designed for straightforward installation and adjustment and fits to the existing wing mirror housing.

Glass size: approximately 13 x 6cm.

Fitting Instructions

You will need a Philips screwdriver and a small spanner. The spanner is supplied between the rubbers in the shroud.

Undo the screw on the back of the casing and remove the mirror. Undo the small bolts until there is enough room for the plastic lip to fit around the top of the plastic casing of your existing wing mirror.

Ensure there is one rubber pad to the top and bottom of the lip and that it fits tightly. Vehicles with thicker plastic mirror casings may not require the rubber pads.

Once positioned correctly, tighten the bolts until secure with no movement. Refit the mirror into the casing and adjust as required.

Vehicle Compatibility

Not suitable for some vehicles with thick or rounded mirror shrouds.

• Volkswagen Golf Mk7 and Mk8 from 2015 onwards
• Mini models from 2014 onwards

• Skoda Yeti from 2015 onwards
• Kia Rio from 2010 onwards
• Suzuki Vitara and Suzuki Swift from 2015 onwards

For these vehicles, mini adjustable blind spot mirrors may be more suitable.
